This is one of the Den. species that most of the nobile-type hybrids originated from. Light scent. Easy grower, and since being in semi-hydro, the canes have more than doubled in length. Next year's blooming should show significant improvement.
How do you give it a dry winter rest when it's in SH? You just empty the water reservoir or don't you give it a dry winter rest?
I don't dry it, but it gets no fertilizer during that time. Some plants don't appear bothered by no rest period, but others may.
Wonderful species. Bravo.
Congrats Yug such a nice species I love the smell.
Mahalo. It does have a slight scent that reminds me of V. tricolor but not as strong.
