Just wondering how is then plant mounted? All my dens are in a pot growing upward. I have one with stems that are very long and would probably do better if in the manner your picture depicts. Do I just put it in a hanging basket or is there another way?

It is in a hanging basket with choir in the bottom. It has taken over the basket and now just grows on itself.

    Cheers,

I do not know what a choir is. Can you explain?

Beautiful specimen of this species... I guess you must grow it quite cool, BD. It doesn't flower and grows poorly under tropical lowland conditions.

Moniluhum, coir is coconut husk. Not sure whether BD used the ground stuff or coarse. Dend loddigesii is a miniature, so the canes are short and branch freely, forming a mat, unlike other dend species from the same section which produce very long dangling canes.

I have a Den Frosty Dawn that has long lanky stems. Should I repot in a basket and simply hang it or is there some other option?
