    Default Vanda Somsri 'Brown'

It's been some time since I posted any pictures of my orchids so here's a picture of the largest flowered Vandas I have, V Somsri 'Brown'.The blooms measure 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) across. It is very floriferous as well as very free flowering. I remember some time ago someone on this forum posted a brown flowered vanda and asked for an ID. It could very well be Somsri 'Brown'. BTW there are 10 blooms on this spike. The best flower count was 14 when the plant was much healthier.

Wow! That's why vandas are so popular. They have very showy displays. We are lucky Cattan to live in that part of the world where vandas thrive naturally.
