    Default Cattelya G. Roebling (gaskelliana x purpurata)

    Not sure of the clone...maybe Beachview? Or Sentinel? Or ?
    Anyway, I got this at my orchid society several years ago, finally got it to bloom this year. It has such an upright habit...wish it could teach some of my "sprawlers" to stand up stright! Blooms are 6.5+" across.

    Cattleya C. G. Roebling, so C. C. G. Roebling. Easy to lose one of those C.s. A little less awkward when it was Lc. C. G. Roebling.

    Good to see this classic (1895) primary hybrid.

    It's seem purpurata more dominant in this crossing so nice.

    Lovely Laelia.any fragrance? I have one similar but in blue.the smell was very strong
