    I would hope you could find some Vandas in New Zealand, but I am not sure if they are available. Hope you can have some luck finding some, just get them mature so they bloom soon for you.

    That's beautiful Jack, agree the tessellation is striking. Lucky find for a big box store bagged orchid.

    I agree with you Nina, who would have know what I was buying at the time. Normally you can find little information on these types of finds.

    Yes, and no matter who I purchase from I want to see the plant in bloom to assess. Can be so much variation in flower form and color I rarely buy an orchid out of bloom unless it's an awarded clone. Am just picky that way.

    I know what you mean Nina, these days I don't buy unless I know what it is that I am buying either from seeing them in bloom or in research to see what they look like and if they will survive in our environment.
