    Default Vanda coerulea blue

This is my first time bloom for this plant. It seems happy even though it does not get the amount of light my other vandals get. It has several other buds, but as usual I was too anxious to wait for them to open. Name: v coreuls blue 3 - 1.jpg

I would agree with all above. I know why you could not wait, that first bloom is always special and you just want to see what it looks like, well done!

Congrats in blooming one. The flowers have great 'blue' tessellations but the shape is missing the flatness of the bottom sepals. Perhaps it will straighten more as the flower matures more. The petals normally twisted 90 degrees and gives it a flight motion. Also this species tend to grow more cooler and less sun than other vandas. Well done!
