    Post Dendrobium platycaulon

Dendrobium platycaulon (Flat pseudo-bulb Dendrobium), a lowland hot-growing epiphytic orchid from the Philippines and also in the adjacent island of Borneo. Got it with flowers last August 2015 and now blooming again this February in the same cane. It has mild citrus scent and with non-spreading petals.

You know what chingjervis, unlike to the attention I am giving with my favorite Vandas ang Phals, the above plant is often neglected, less watering under heavy shade with bare roots just mounted in driftwood with string, no moss no cocohusk. I'm just happy it is doing well. I'm not sure if this will plant will be more showy if I'm giving more attention into it.

Honestly, Some neglected orchids do better.

Its just not me, so i have a very difficult time giving them "dry season".

I'm just glad mine is giving me keikis, so when time comes for me to have courage to "neglect" some of my babies, it will be stunning. (I hope so...hahaha)
