Flowered this one for the first time last year. The new growths are big & better this year & again a flower not up to what it was. Better luck next time. Still, not bad as it is. The colour is a lot darker than the pic shows. Can't afford a new camera yet.

Most of the time it is Chris. Its easy to keep clean. Could have been very messy today, walked it & the was a 5 foot brown snake on the bench just near me. It went one way & I the other.. Did not expect that. Temp in the house was around 95f as well. Very poisonous critters they are also.

Whoah unexpected visitor...or maybe a secret admirer of yours and your orchid.

It gave you a jumpstart of your heart...hehehe
Glad everything was okay with you.

Nice catt and the color is just right. Size...you can do better next time with TLC.

Like the color on this one. Glad that it went the other side. Needless to say, got to be careful in your grow area.

Beautiful Roy. The snake would keep me out of the greenhouse, don't like them at all as I had a couple of close calls when I was a kid with poisonous snakes, that was enough for me. We have non poisonous, and python snakes which normally stay in the everglades, here but when I see one I go the other way.

Fortunately the snake has gone for now, I do take protection with me when I go outside for now. Neighbours know if they here a noise there is a fair chance the unwanted visitor has been removed.

Flower is about 5 inches across, same as last year. One other I flowered of the cross is a tad bigger. I would think its around the size it will always be, give or take a few mil.
