    Default Dendrobium Specio-Kingianum Madam

I have had some trouble getting my Dens to bloom as well as last year. The only a few buds are blooming while the rest die off. Despite that here is a bloom one of two left on spike.Name: Vanda Mimi Palmer 2 - 1.jpg

Nice colour Monica! I think most have been having trouble with their Den's this year. Latouria have not been too bad but the cooler growing types have been rather disappointing. At least in North America.

I have very few buds to show for my winter rested Dens. I am wondering if I should not dry them out this coming winter just less water and no fert.

However my Den specioso hybrid looks like it is getting ready to grow a number of spikes. Just far fewer than I want.

Does not look like a good year for Dendrobiums, I think we can blame it on elNino! I did notice a few buds showing on one of them yesterday but no where near what it put out last year!
