    Default Ascda. Suksamran Sunlight

I have been blessed 3 times with a blooming of this beautiful flower since I purchased it last May. Even after I allowed it to get sunburned over the winter when all the leaves had dropped from the tree it was hanging in - I guess I'm not the best orchid mom. I'm posting another pic to see if you can tell me why the bottom leaves are drooping terribly. This happened prior to the sunburn. I am encouraged, however, by the beautiful new root growth.

Beauty Sheryl. Bottom leaves looks like some kind of mechanical damage due to wind or may be packing during transit and looks irreversible. if it is putting out new roots, it should be ok to ignore. It would drop those leaves in future

Very nice Sheryl. I have vandas that are doing the same thing, it does not seem to bother the plant, I think the wind and blowing around is the culprit.

Very nice bright colour! One day it will be like my only Vanda and have 2' of bare stem. Then you'll have to decide if you like it that way or take a gamble and cut it off.

Thanks for your advice. It does get windy around here sometimes so maybe that is the culprit.
