This is one of my first orchids I purchased and is I have had for over 4 years. It has never bloomed, but has grown many growths with non-blooming sheaths. The roots were so many I didnt know how to repot. I recently purchased a greenhouse and placed it in a spot that received very bright light sometimes even during the hottest partof the day. Ugh, I was not sure how much sun the greenhouse would get and the sun light changed with the season. A week or so ago I was so surpised to see sheaths. I of course, figured they would not produce. Then as I looked closer I saw that they actually had a bloom inside and realized that there were many blooms. This is by far the most exciting bloom as it took so long to start flowering and there are over 20 very large blooms
Wow Monica! That is fabulous! Well rewarded for your patience.
That is gorgeous Monica! To get all those blooms after your patience and care is well worth the wait. Enjoy!
Great show from an excellent plant.
I think it is telling you please leave me in this new spot in this greenhouse, stunning display of blooms!
That is amazing! You give me hope in blooming those stubborn plants.
Congratulations Monica, wonderful blooming.
