I had sent an email to the vendor that I got this Dendrobium from asking that same question, I have heard back from him and for the life of him he can not remember why he printed the labels with the "v Suavissimum-yei" as they should have been only Dendrobium chrysotoxum. He tells me that there is a Dendrobium chrysotoxum var Suavissimum but the way to tell the difference is that the var has a black center instead of the color of the regular chrysotoxum.

Thanks Sheryl and Yew-Sung for your comments!
