    Beautiful flowers but the Dendrobium primulinum does not look like the primulinums I have seen.It looks a bit like loddigesii but more open.Maybe there is another form of primulinum.

    the big difference with loddigesii is in the margin of the labelum.
    i think there're different geogr. origins with primulianum that explain your feeling

    Thank you.The primulinums we see here in Australia resemble aphyllum but with a much wider labellum.See IOSPE photo.

    Den.primulinum has quite a vast distribution with multiple variants. This form is called var.laos. The regular form is pink and white and is from Himalayan range. Den.primulinum is now reclassified as Den.polyanthum.
