This looks nice and graceful. The more I see orchids mounted on bark, the more I'm getting the itch of doing it.
Besides I'm running out of room on my tree trunks.

OK here's a question: Which is better for tying orchids to mounts: String, Fishing Line, Wire or that stretchy green tie.
I would think fishing line because you can't see it. What's you opinions?

Oilie, you really are a pro at this. All your mounts look great.

Using the fishing line 30, I do go through the bark using a crochet embroidery and tie in the back, I rise in several places to ensure an excellent anchorage, if you need to stop the small details use of elastic thread; when the plant starts to anchor itself on several occasions to not compromise the attachment, I remove the anchor points or fastening wire.
If the anchor is executed with attention it is invisible, both during fixing after that, also the signs on the cork will disappear.
Advise against use of cork mix, it deteriorates with time and facilitates the accumulation of salts.
