Smile Neofinetia falcata (chouseiden) In Bloom

This is the first time this has bloomed for me. I bought it in January 2016. 5 Fan Neofinetia falcata.

I believe 'chouseiden' refers to the type of leaf. This is a pine needle leaf with a very thin lighter green edge to the leaves. It is almost visible in the picture of the whole plant.

The flowers are as open as I believe they are going to get. I'd like them to open more but the first one to open has been open for about 4 days. I would think if they were going to open more, they would have by now. But I can see the line between petals and sepal in the close ups. If they do open further, I will post new pics.

Beautiful, beautiful bloom, is present in my collection, but on the raft, you have to be careful to the roots are delicate with a tendency to be damaged, congratulations.

Looks delicate bro! I'm beginning to really like net pots! Makes it easy to monitor what's happening with the root system, but they're a bit too expensive.
