    Default Epicatt. Thumper McLain 'Bambi'

Finally able to start my own posts again after 4-5 days computerless. Using my wife's computer was no fun at all! Women do things so differently and so wrong This is a division I got last March and glad I did. Blooms very readily and should have 7-8 flowers per spike if I do things right. Did things wrong this time as the spike grew so quickly that it had been touching the window and only a few days from opening before I noticed it. We had those very silly high temps over the last few weeks, months, seems like forever and it got a bit burned. Very sad to see how some folks in the southern US were so badly flooded during the last few days but I am happy we finally got some rain and cooling here.

Very nice Catyclia. Encyclia tampensis tends to wash out / brown out the color in hybrids, but this retains a nice balance. Good form for a tampensis cross too.

Thank you Eric. Cattleya takes precedence over Encyclia?
