Pays to have a few plants of this. It seems to want to flower at different times per plant.
Lovely color on this one.
One of my favourite Catt.'s!
One of the prettiest splash petal cattelya.
I would be happy to have it bloom anytime it wants!
Those are lovely colors!
A further comment ; it is quite interesting how different plants of the same grex name will flower at different periods , or otherwise have different growing habits - for example I have two plants of a Coelogyne species ( lawrenceana) ; both are currently in bud , both started their growths at the same time within a few days ,. One made new roots as soon as the new growth started, the other made up the bulb without any roots, then suddenly produced a complete flush of roots. Remarkable. It goes to show that any advice given can be completely wrong - based on a plant with different growing habits from the one the adviser had in mind.
Good shape and I adore the color pattern. I have written down the name and I now have it on my want list.
