    Default Slc. Numazu Star

This first bloom seedling is a cross between (Lc. Mini Purple 'Bonanza' AM/AOS x Soph. coccinea 'Sonoma'). The bloom is 2 3/4 inches wide and 3 inches tall, and there is another bud developing. Those botches on the petals and sepals are a light purple.

Striking. I can imagine it's even prettier in person. Does it have a fragrance?

There is no fragrance yet, I will check it in the afternoon when it is warmer in the house.
I grow all my mini and compact cattleyas in the south window of my dining room. It is cooler there than in the rest of the house. Thank you all for the comments.

The second bloom is open, much smaller than the first one.
