Default Dendrobium Hawaiian Punch (Norma Jackson x Blue Twinkle)

This beauty has actually been in bloom now for about a month, and I noticed last week that it is sending up another spike! It's mounted on a north-facing palm tree that gets pretty much full sun exposure for most of the day.

This is a pretty one. I like to go to this site and look up the parental lines of hybrids. On this one you have to go way back to find the species.

Agree with Sriram. This is a pretty old, free-flowering hybrid that is found in old collections here. I got mine as dend Caesar 'pink'. The triangular lip shape and longer petals come from the stratiotes parent, which is quite different from Hawaiian Punch.

Yes, you and Sriram are both right. I just checked the tag and realized I had typed the wrong name here. I do also have Hawaiian Punch just now blooming, so therein lies the confusion. Thanks for the clarification!
