What delightful plants these Latouria dendrobiums are. I bought this one as a small plant with a few growths last summer ; the growths completed and flowered in January, and one of them is now flowering again , and I see that there are 3 new growths starting - all about 15mm high at the moment.
Grown in sphagnum moss and nothing else - in a 3 inch pot. kept in my warm cabinet, which is about 18-20˚ C at night, and goes up to say 27˚ C in the spring sunshine, and sprayed every 2 or 3 days. Occasionally I take it out and dunk in a bucket of water/feed.
Flower size, btw is about 6cm natural spread.
How I would love to grow this into a big specimen - lots of flowering canes.... but I think I am on the way .

I love Dens from this section apparently. I'll be posting my Den Microchip hybrid soon. It has at least one parent from this section.
