This is another of my Den. thyrsiflorums , in fact one I had a year or two before the one I showed last month. I bought it with a 2 ft cane - which I have still not matched, but the canes are getting bigger , year by year. This is the 2015 cane flowering of course. It was named as Den densiflorum var alboluteum , and maybe when showing it previously I argued for the correctness of that name ; but having read a lot about this question in the past year, I am happy to use the thyrsiflorum name.
But comparing my April posting with this one, does show a clear difference in colouring, so maybe I was too hasty in that conclusion... I could go round in circles for ever on this, I think, but for now Im too busy to start writing new labels ( builders coming in to create some better bench supports for me ).
Flowers are quite large for this Section of Dendrobium - almost 2 ˝ inch natural spread.
My favourite orchid is always one out in flower when asked that question - but certainly this one is top favourite this week.

This is very unusual thysiflorum Geoff as the lip is so different from your post previously and the flower is relatively very big, I never seen this variety and thysiflorum crossing with farmeri the flower exactly will look like this but the crossing plant very similar like farmeri size and shape. Any chance that the above species is amabile white color as the plant show some similarity?

In my opinion your plant is not Den.thyrsiflorum as I know it.My thyrsiflorums have a shorter but more dense spray of flowers, similar in style to densiflorum.I will post photos when they flower.
