    A surprisingly large flower, too - 12cm natural spread, almost 5 inches. The blood-line or profile is 1/3rd each walkeriana, warneri and pumila . Has been awarded by the Japanese Orchid Growers Assoc , with a silver medal ( according to the German nursery which sold me the plant). Two flowers. perhaps my best blue, so far...

    It is a multigeneration cross, but always involving hybrids fro the same three species . Anyway, don't take me too literally, maybe it is 30, 30, 40. The pie chart looks fairly equally devided.

    According to >BlueNanta it is 37.5% C. walkeriana, 37.5% C. pumila & 25.0% C. warneri to be exact.
