    Default Ascda. Summer Delight 'Susan'

Had this about 25 years now, it is my oldest vandaceous orchid. Very light scent in the morning, and large blooms for an ascocenda. It has never branched unfortunately.

This one is also amazing and it goes on my wish list as well since I look for fragrant orange flowers.
    Thank you Yug

This one is Papilionanda as well, very unlikely for the spike to branch.

A lot of the early ascocendas were orange - probably the Asctm parent was dominant in taht respect. But the coilour seems to have disappeared now. Perhaps too many generations away from the originals, so time for the breeders to go back to basics !

So you like orange? I believe Taiwan breeders are working on that.
