A few years ago I was posting pics of my vandas all the time ; then I had some serious problems, and lost/discarded "all" my Vandas - that is to say all the big flowering plants. Strangely, a few very small plants, just seedlings, escaped the storm ( it was very serious overheating and absence of water ) and I have carried on growing them, without giving them much attention, and then today - hey presto - one has flowered.
It is a first flowering, and just 3 flowers and a bud. But I am pleased to see it.
These vanda hybrids all seem to have amazingly good shape and form, and this one has good colour , too , although that is the norm, too.

So, not much of a plant, but something to shout about, all the same.

Love that saturated color. Hard to beat a Vanda in that regard.
