Default Cattleya Vaupes Sunrise x Rlc. Great Green Goddess

This came from the collection y mate had to clear because of home shift. I had no idea what it would look like even tho he had sent some pics, his photography wasn't all that good.
Very interesting flower, I think it's still opening. I'll measure the flower in a couple of days.

Had to look this up for my own curiosity. The cross is not registered. C. Vaupes Sunrise is (C. dowiana x C. granulosa) x C. trigrina. Rlc. Great Green goddess is over 7/8 C. bicolor, with a little C.dowiana, Rl. digbyana and a few others. It shows its ancestry. And probably grows like a weed.
