    Canes about 2 feet high on this Indian oriiginating clone of the species - about the same as I have seen in the wild in NE Thailand - rather larger than most other members of this section of the genus.
    Flowers unduly pale - a common result of my culture where there is perhaps more light than they want in the growing season, and far too little in their rest period. In the wild they grow on the lower branches of Teak ( Tectonis grandis, etc) and the enormous leaves must provide heavy shade when the new growths extends, but after they fall, in late October, the light is quite brilliant whilst the buds are developing. I can't match that !

    Wow your atmosphere really made the plant happy in return you got beautiful display well done Geoff. Unlike here very hot only single flowers and an occasionally 3 or 4 but at least I enjoyed it.
