    Default Dendrobium cretaceum

This years blooming, last year I had a total of 3 blooms, just a little different this year. This was a tough one to get photographed, must have taken close to 50 photos to get these.

So, what did you say to the plant to make it bloom ? Threats or promises, carrot or stick ? Whatevere it did, it worked. Well done indeed.

Actually I did nothing, and I mean nothing, they were lucky last year if they got fertilizer, luckily I did use time release fertilizer on them! There is a reason why I put a irrigation system in to do the normal watering. Most of the time after fertilizing over 300 bulbos my thoughts said I would do them another day but that did not always happen.

Thanks Sheryl, don't treat them like we all do at times, we have to remember they seem to survive on their own in the wild with nothing from human beings except the destruction of their growing area!
