    Default Lc. Canhamiana 'Cobalt'

    As I'm sure I've mentioned, I am separated from my orchids for 5 months of the year but am fortunate to have friends who occasionally will look in on them and send me pics. Although I am slowly evolving my collection to be fall to spring bloomers, one old favorite I will never part with continues to enjoy a very large chunk of bench space because it is just soooo spectacular, even if only in the annual picture they send me when it is in bloom. I am told this year the flower count is 23 with 1 more bud still to open. It's difficult to appreciate the size of this from this picture but it is in a 16" bulb pan.

    wow, wow , wow! that is so spectacular, all the more as I am not able to care for such a wonderful plant myself. Hope you will soon be back with your orchids to enjoy them in real life.
