What's in a name ? Well, I like to have the right one, and I don't think I have. The true Jungle spots is bicolor x aclandiae, back crossed onto aclandiae. The potential range of colours is fairly limited and can't give this near white , and the shape is wrong too - judging by the pic in Orchidwiz.
Maybe I should just stop worrying about this and enjoy the plant.

It has three growths, this one, a second where the buds are just starting to emerge, and the third where the growth is not quite complete. Since the flowers are waxy, lots of substance, long lasting, this means that I get to enjoy this plant on successive spikes for maybe three months or even more...what's not to like about that ?
