    The cross is Lc (Nobile's Blue Sky x Blue Boy) 'Royal Blue".
    On my monitor the colour shown is exactly what my eyes see. This is a first flowering from flask, and I think the plant will get better as it matures. In particular the dorsal petal - the one at the top, reflexes back, or maybe just flops a bit, which is why I am supporting it with my fingers here - but with a bit more substance on a maturer plant, may hold its position better. But that is a common fault with cattleyas, and I don't mark it down much for it. In fact, I don't mark it down at all !

    For someone who only has 2 in the Cattleya family, I certainly would not mind this for a 3rd!
