    Now in a 2 litre pot - about 6 inches diameter and high, with 3 leads each with two flowers ( or in one case, 1 flower and a bud about to open. I hoped to wait bfor the last flower to open, but of course the first flowers are starting to go off ; you can't win 'em all...

    Actually, the first flowering since it left the flask , and this year's bulbs are so much better than the previous ones, it obviously has way to go, and the flowers should improve in quality as well as ( perhaps) number, as the plant matures.

    I like the name Lois - I remember as a teenager, not quite a hundred years ago, being rather keen on a girl with that name, but she disappeared from my ken long before I could overcome my shyness to actually speak to any girl. We did things rather differently then, in those far off days.
