    Default Den. lichenastrum var. prenticei

This one has bloomed a few times this year, but I kept not getting around to taking a photo in time. Very small! Growing outside in full sun.

The pic isn't great (plant, not bloom is in focus), so no big-size pic this time.

I think it looks like it's saying "blaah!" or "yeech". A very strong toungue-stuck-out kind of look.

I have to say, I love the Aussie Dens. E.g., I absolutely adore the Den. Jim Beck that Louis and BD sent me a couple years ago. Prolific bloomer, good grower, etc.

This little guy grows well, and blooms irregularly, but relatively often. Maybe 3 or 4 blooms this year, which is great for a first year of blooming, even though it's only been one bloom at a go.

I think it is kinda cute! It looks like a cartoon character.

Glad the pink den. is doing well in your care, Sue!

    Cheers!

Now that plant has a real personality! I wish that it was a "normal" sized plant so I could try to grow it.

Yeah, what's wrong with minis? You could just mount this one to the side of a bulb of one of those big floofy things you've got!
