    Default tiny dendrobium

At our orchid society auction yesterday, there was a tiny dendrobium that I really wanted to get. All I came away with was a photograph of it though. It is called Den Maiden Charlotte. (It looks like the NoId type dendrobium that Julie posted a few days ago. [plant part anyway] )- only tiny. This little dend was in a two inch pot and well, blooming!

It is hard to see in the photo, but the edges of the flower have tiny purple coloration. Very cute!

    Cheers!

Hey that's my size of plant! Wonder what the parents were? Plant size-wise it looks like it's on par w/ the D. oligophyllum I posted a few weeks ago.

Den. rhodostictum x Den. aberrans are the parents. It was registered in Feb, 2001.

    Cheers!
