That brings up a question I've been meaning to ask Cin--how is the schomb on your palm tree doing? How do you care for it?

My Schomb is looking Happy Happy Happy! Hoping to see some roots on the palm in a week or so. As for the care, pretty easy, just spray it with the hose if you don't get any rain for a few days. I will mist it with some liquid fertilizer once a month or so. That's it.

6 foot isn't all that bad! In the late spring I am having to deal with some spikes as large as 12-15 foot! I had some this year that the base of the spike looked like a tree branch! I am just very thankful I went with a higher roof on my screenhouse!

Wow. Very beautiful, but a 15 foot spike like a tree branch!! That is way cool. I thought my grams. had long spikes.

    Cheers!
