This interested me, so i did a little research. They do cross - the resulting plant is a member of the hybrid genus Schombonitis. Thats about as far as i could get. I guess its not very common. I couldnt find a picture ANYWHERE. anyone who has the orchid classification computer program have any luck finding more information?

    Hi Aaron,

You're right - it's been done before, but only once! Schombonitis (Smbts) Anneliese was registered in 1970 by Silva at the Inst. of Genetics. It's Schom crispa x Soph cernua.

I found a picture, but it's from a Schomb breeder in Sarasota, FL, so I'll PM you the link.

That was the cross that I was going off of to make my new crosses. There has only been one other cross that's not registered. It's the cernua x undulata. I am pretty sure that both crosses were made in South America, or so I have been told.
