Default Sc. Crystelle Smith 'Aileen' AM/AOS

Isn't it funny how certain orchids bloom when we least expect it. This one was in bloom last Sept. and had a second growth just starting. It was only about 2 weeks ago that I noticed the new growth had a bud and in such a short time it's opened. There is now another growth. At this rate, I'll get 3-4 bloomings per year. What a great mini! No wonder it got an AM!

I really like those. I may have to break down and get one. Such a hardship!

Oh, it is such a beauty! I wish mine will bloom soon, but it was stalled for the whole summer - doesn't like heat.

Tindomul, I did take the photo in the sun..I prefer natural light or artificial for photographs.

Smartie, it unfortunately has no fragrance. The whole plant is less than 6" high so it would be a great one to try under lights. The flower is about 2" across.

Another for the wish list, just what I need another orchid--summers are OK, but winters are a crush.

The flower is beautiful. That is a terrific picture.
