    Aaron, it's gorgeous. I can sure understand your love for this species. It's fast becoming a favorite of mine but I have no way to grow it. I live through your photos! More! More!

    Anybody can grow a schomb Tami! The thing that I like the most about them is that they can take full sunlight. All of mine I just mount, or put them in baskets and let them go wild!

    Ohhhhhh.. you are SO tempting me! It's the space factor I'm wondering about. Would I have to bring them indoors for a month or two during winter? We don't have many freezes but we do have some, and also get below 40 in Dec and Jan.
    This one is still the most beautiful orchid I've ever seen (pic from your post)

    They would do alright. In the winter they would have to be protected somewhat from the cold because they aren't cold hardy at all. The only time I worry about mine around here is during a freeze.

    I can't help it.... When it comes to schombs I think everyone should have at least one!...... Then of course the schomb sickness will take it's course after the first one that blooms for you.
