    It's gorgeous, Laura! It's a primary hybrid between Catt. mossiae x Laelia purpurata. Yours is a var. coerulea awarded in 2003, but it isn't clear which parent was the var. coerulea, if not both.

    gorgeous color! julie, likely both parents were forma (fma.) coerulea as this is quite recessive. technically the hybrid cannot have a variety or forma but this is commonly used to designate color.
