    Default NOID dendrobium

I photographed this one at the Montreal Botanical gardens. I can't find this species anywhere. Does anyone recognize it? Sorry the pic is blurry but you can only do so much when the pic is hand-held at 1/15 second!

Nelson might recognize it or maybe Murray. Give it some time and I bet someone has a guess! I like the color very much. I hope we find out what it is.

by the flower shape I would suspect it is of Australian background. The Montreal Botanical Gardens has species and hybrids in their collection.

When i saw the photo this morning nothing came to mind as the foliage did not look like a dendrob.Having another look just now Im still of the same opinion, even though the flowers resemeble those of some of the Aussie dendrobs.

Ask the botanic gardens. I'm sure you could e-mail a photo to their greenhouse. The greenhouse manager ought to be able to ID it on sight.
