All of your Catts are stunning, Lien! I have a number of coerulea Catt species, but who knows when they'll ever deign to bloom. Thanks for sharing yours!

What species do you have? How big are they? Some of these bloom much smaller than you would think. I have a C. leudd. coerulea that is blooming on a 6" plant. I'll post the photo in another thread. It's also great for a first bloom seedling.

My C. bowringiana is a small plant - 4 growths but leaves are only about 3-4". It's a good thing I checked it. The newest growth was bent over like it was broken. I peeled back the papery sheath and some sort of rot got the stem. Guess he won't be doing much for a while!

    C. walkeriana coerulea is pretty well established. Here's a pic: http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchid...mic-day-2.html

Mine is the second one. The vertebrae wasn't as exciting a mount as the hip bone, but the plant was bigger! That was last Oct. It has two new growths on it.

Then there's C's gaskelliana, mossiae, and warneri - all coerulea. None are huge, but should be close to BS.

I have a C. quadricolor (coerulea x alba). It's an F2 seedling in a breeding program. It should be interesting, whatever comes out!

So lots of hurry up and wait going on here...

    McJulie
