    Default Bl Yellow Bird

I am a bit of a Bl Richard Mueller nut...I have many crosses with it. Bl Yellow Bird is coming into bloom with three spikes. It is a cross of B. grandiflora x Bl. Richard Mueller.

I've always fully expected to see yellow blooms from this plant due to the name. But they are always wonderfully polka dot. Does the name 'Yellow Bird' refer to the Jamaican song of love flown away?
    Anyway - 'She's a Beauty' - the Tubes.

    Lovely! - Tami

Tami, typically Yellow Bird turns yellow as the blooms age.

I really want one of the Mueller types. I think I would do well with them, but I can never find anything! Pooey. Yours is gorgeous!
