    Default Schoenorchis paniculata: REVISITED

The first spike is almost completely finished blooming, but the newer spike is starting to open up. It's an interesting Indonesian/PNG species, just not showy at all. The flowers measure ca. .5mm in diameter.

Did you take the second photo through a magnifying glass? It looks a very cool effect, however it was done.

0.5mm flowers? That's so tiny, the sort of bloom I would blunder about and miss.

    Thank you for sharing

The second shot is something I was fooling around with... it's through a 5x jeweler's loop, and looked kinda interesting

That's really a neat magnified picture Pat! Is this your personal plant? You have such interesting orchids!

Thanks! I thought it was interesting, and shows what the flowers actually look like, instead of white spots...

This plant is also mine... I'd say the plant is just slightly smaller than the photo depicts it...
