    Default Trichovanda Thai Velvet 'Meechai'

Trichovanda Thai Velvet 'Meechai' is a cross of Trichoglottis brachiata x Vanda Kinzweiler... the flowers smell like rubber, and look like they were made out of it. Two spikes as of now (one in front with two flowers, another spike hiding behind the plant with a single flower)... two more spikes are just starting to develop...

Nice dark bloom. I really like the contrast between the petals and lip.

    Cheers,

These colors are gorgeous- I love anything dark and red like that. Bummer that it smells like rubber....it doesn't have a lingering scent, does it? So long as you actually have to up to the flower and sniff it to smell the rubbery scent, I would be okay with it...haha Nice growing!

Since the flowers are thick and rubbery, does that mean they are especially long lasting?

Its nice to know that it develops multiple spikes even during blooming stage.
