My favorite Dendrobium sections are Calcarifera and Pedilonum. These are floriferous and variable. I loved them
I only have two dendrobiums, and I'm not sure I like them. They are growing really well, comming back from the near death in which I bought them. I just don't really care for the way they grow. Maybe when they bloom I will become infatuated with them.
Calcarifera, Eugenanthe, Oxyglossum are in my liking....and i dont know why...lol....but i tend to do very well with Dendrobiums...deff three of my favorite sects
i only have one dendrobium, kingianum. but i really like tetragonum and unicum, and will get those some day.
I LOVE Spatulata, Phalaenanthe and Latouria dendrobiums, but they rarely love me back because of my cool-intermediate setup, so I've given up on trying to grow them until I either have some space in the house where it's nice and warm, but not really humid enough, or I move somewhere where I can have a second greenhouse with a warm-intermediate setup. The bulk of my dendrobiums belong to section Dendrocoryne, which grow like weeds and flower their socks off for me, followed by Callista, Dendrobium, Holocrysa, Calyptrochilus and Formosae.
