    Dendrobium atroviolaceum x Dendrobium Nellie Slade
    first time to flower, the flowers look a lot like that of Dendrobium atroviolaceum, only much bigger...
    but the flowers on the Den atrviolaceum are small and sweet..

    I have a soft spot for the Latouria section (notice I'm the only one that has voted for them so far in the current poll)!

    I like the fullness that the Nellie Slade (the D. forbesii) adds and the curly petals. The flowers look plumper and just lovely!
