This is an "I love you, honey" gift from my sweetie yesterday..I'll keep this in my office in the minicatt window. It's only about 7" tall with an ultra-clumping growth habit. Cody knows my tastes in orchids now *wink*

Scent is a very sweet floral.

Oh, how nice. I have not received an orchid as a gift in awhile. But then again, when I see one I really like, I just get it and suffer the space and financial costs later. LOL. (Isn't that what they invented VISA for anyway??) heheheheee

Do you plan to repot in your special round media? And, BTW, how many orchids do you have anyway? Ever make a list?

    Cheers,
    BD

Yep. It'll get the smaller grade of Hydroton when it starts to make some roots . It seems like any catt I've had over a couple of years eventually makes it to Hydroton. A friend of mine thinks my potting media looks like Godiva truffles . (Now my sweet tooth needs something.)

BD. According to the orchid database, I have 104. Hmm..probably about 8 or so more that aren't catalogued. I plan on moving a great deal of them to a light garden I'm building at work. Luckily, my boss loves them and always enjoys peeking in my windowsills. Which I need to do soon.... I need a greenhouse and/or a tropical island sometime soon. (Dream job: retire to Tahiti and run an internet orchid business)

Forget the internet orchid business, just move to Tahiti and be wealthy enough to buy and trade all the orchids you could ever want! LOL. The business of selling orchids takes the fun away from growing them. JMHO

    Great gift!

I've been looking for this one, and I will get one soon as soon as they become available. I found a local vendor for it, he didn't want to sell to me at the time because the plants didn't look healthy enough to him.

Thanks for the plant height, I have a better idea of how big it is.
