    I have a soft spot for what I call the Marilyn Monroe orchids (large floofy lavenders). This one definitely qualifies. What an heirloom (this cross was registered in 1941)!

    Beautiful, Bruce. Registered in 1941 is pretty neat. I guess at that time men were still the primary orchid growers (too 'sexually explicit' for women), hence the name? It sure doesn't LOOK like a George!
