Default Blc. Hawaiian Mini Island 'Carmela' - DIANE!

Okay...another bag baby..but from earlier this year. I bought mine in May and I got Auntie Diane one in July. Mine went directly into Hydroton and just opened flower #1! Such a pretty saturated shade on a compact plant (blooming p-bulb is only about 9"). No scent.

Nice one there....I am hopping with excitement right now myself. My baggie baby had done a blind sheath on me about two months ago, but now the second new pbulb went bi-foliate and has two small buds coming along nicely. They are naked, no sheath, but being a young plant, I hear they do that sort of thing so I wasn't suprised. Just very very stinkin' happy!
Congrats on your beauty...makes me even more antsy to see what mine will look like.

Clint -- that is a beauty! I love the color--so nicely saturated. Not bad for a bag baby! (Somehow the term "bag baby" always makes me think the orchid was homeless or something--you know like a bag lady. Is that terrible?)

No. I think that's kind of cute, actually. They are homeless...all in that big box store lit by about 100 foot candles.
