Eplc/Plc Mae Bly 'Ching Hua Splashed'
Not sure if I chose the right location for this one, hopefully so. If not, please feel free to relocate.
Bought this in bud a few weeks ago, so again, I can only take credit for not killing the buds. Open in full as of this morning. Not supposed to have a scent, but already smell a faint scent like lily of the valley or maybe lilacs. Blooms are about 4" across and the plant is about standard cattleya sized with long side-stretched leaves. Been working on getting the color right, but my camera fights me with it. Should be soft green with purply-pink splash.
Enjoy!

What an interesting color pattern! Cool. Glad it's giving you some fragrance; I always appreciate that.

Nice flowers, Sara.
Btw, you might have better success capturing the color with a uniform black background. Try taking a shot that way in light shade on a bright day

Thanks everyone.
It's been cloudy here for several days, which made it hard to get a decent pic. Sunny this morning so I think these are better. I don't really have anything I could use for a black background that would be easy to deal with... An old black towel, maybe?
