Default B. nodosa and Den. Thongchai Gold

    Brassavola nodosa
This is the first bloom since I purchased it, so I'm hoping next season would yield more flowers.
The scent is really powerful and kicks in consistently around 8:00pm here.
If I am working in the GH around that time, it almost seems like someone with perfume walked in the GH.

    Dendrobium Thongchai Gold
I had a couple of Den. Thongchai Gold before but were lost due to last winter's frost.
This one looks different though, this one has a neon blue/violet throats with burgundy-veined lips. The previous Thonchai Gold that I had only had pure purple lips.

I know what you mean about the nodosa. It will have more flowers as it get larger.

    Cheers,

Hey John, thanks for posting this pic of Thongchai Gold. Just rescued one couple of weeks ago and it hasn't bloomed yet. Probably next yr.
